Frequently Asked Questions
Do you have to sign up?
Sparrows doesn't require any official registration.
We do however ask that you join our Facebook page. All our events are listed on this page and you can ask any questions or receive support from other parents via this. To book most of our events you will have to register with Pembee though (Our booking system).
Can siblings attend?
Yes siblings are always welcome!
We ask that you don't bring friends or extended family to keep our places exclusive for children with disabilities. If you need an additional carer for example if you are a single mother and need 2 to 1 support for your children then this is ok . Please email us if you have any questions about this .
Do you offer respite services?
No . All our sessions are to be under supervision of parents/carers at all times. Particularly if they are prone to behavioural challenges.
We fully understand how much families need respite services however we are a small team and not able to.
Does my child need a diagnosis to attend?
No children do not need a diagnosis to attend.
We do understand how long and difficult the diagnosis progress can be.
Our sessions are for disabled children to access so we do ask that you only attend if your child is under investigation by a professional for an additional need.
